SURPRISE: THE BACKSTAGE LOUNGE DIDN'T CLOSE AFTER ALL!
In September 2017, we were all scared to hear that the Backstage Lounge was fated to close at the end of 2017. Well, the powers-to-be couldn't get the permits they needed to renovate, so the lounge is still operating today - and at least until the end of March 2019!
Therefor, we welcome you back to the 8th year of bottomless funk, soul & R&B party time with The Phonix at the Backstage Lounge!
If you haven't yet experienced this Vancouver live music staple, you've been missing out.
If you're a long-time fan, we're so grateful for your never-ending support!
So we're heading back there to rebirth our old-school Thursday night dance parties. We'll be performing every Thursday until the Backstage Lounge really does close!
