Learn to play this magical instrument made of metal...This will be a very rare chance to have a hands-on experience on these mystical drums. Invented in Switzerland in the year 2000, these "Hang" drums or Hand Pans are similar to a Caribbean steel drum or Indonesian gamelan. They have a beautiful resonance, and are very intuitive to play. You will learn basic technique and rhythms on the drums. Space is extremely limited, and this workshop may not be offered again due to the rare timing of available drums. You will learn basic technique and rhythms on the drums, and you are welcome to record the workshop for your own reference.
