Event Description
Pack up your art supplies and come to Christ Church Cathedral for the summer-long open house for all artists to draw and paint inside the building or on the grounds. We'll even give you a cup of tea!
The Cathedral welcomes individuals as well as small groups, including supervised children. You may work anywhere outdoors on the Cathedral precinct at any time. Inside the building, artists may set up in any area open to the general public. Please be respectful of those who have come to worship or meditate. The Cathedral building is open to artists between 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday. Access may be limited sometimes because of worship services or concerts.
Registration is free and may be made at the Cathedral Office at 930 Burdett Avenue. Please provide your name and contact information. On subsequent visits, check in at the Office to confirm access. Groups of five or more contact the Office at 250 383 2714 to ensure that space is available.
