Event Description

A monthly fundraiser bringing TIFF’s critically acclaimed films to the Cowichan Valley presents Divine Order.
In 1971 Switzerland, despite worldwide social upheavals in the previous decade, women are still denied the right to vote. When dutiful housewife Nora is forbidden by her husband to take a part-time job, she becomes the unlikely poster child of the town women’s suffragette movement.
