Dr. Gerald King has conducted the UVic Wind Symphony for the past 29 years. This will be his final concert as maestro with the ensemble — recognized as one of the premiere performing wind ensembles in the Pacific Northwest — before his retirement. This special program includes works significant to Dr. King over the past 30 years including Lux Aurumque by Eric Whitacre, LOL by Robert Buckley, Airat Ichmouratov’s Fantasia on Klezmer Themes, A Movement for Rosa by Mark Camphouse, Gavorkna Fanfare by Jack Stamp, and more. Join us for what is sure to be a memorable evening!
