Record your world with fun little watercolour and ink sketches. This workshop combines watercolour painting with ink line work for quick and effective small paintings. These charming little paintings are quick and deceivingly easy to do as the ink line drawing forgives many errors in the watercolour painting, making this method relaxing and stress free. The approach is useful for sketching on location, or painting in the comfort of home or studio from photos you have taken.

We will begin with some simple exercises in watercolour the first morning to understand how the paint works with water on paper. For the rest of the class we will be working on small paintings with ink embellishments for definition and effect. We will do at least one landscape and one other subject over the weekend. This workshop is suitable for beginners or those with experience.
