Dana Irving

Event Description

Dana Irving presents her first solo exhibition at West End Gallery. Born in Prince George, Dana spent her formative years in nature. Her appreciation and wonder at the natural world has taken her across the country, from the wild West Coast to the rugged Rocky Mountains, the prairies and beyond, Dana’s inspiration comes from the diverse beauty of the landscape. Four years of fine arts education has also nurtured her artistic talent and includes experience in Classical painting and life drawing, Chinese brushwork, Interior Design, Graphic Design and photography. Now living and working in Vancouver Dana has immediate access to nature. In a city where nature cannot be ignored she captures what she sees with a playful yet discerning eye. Ancient old growth forests, emerald rivers, rolling seas and sweeping skies all find themselves at the tip of her brush.

Join us for the opening reception Saturday September 17 with artist in attendance from 1-4pm.
