JUNO award-winning acoustic guitar phenomenon Jesse Cook brings his One World Tour to the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre November 13, 2016. Jesse’s One World Tour and his latest album One World (released in 2015), infuses the exotic influences from decades of musical exploration spanning the globe from Turkey to Spain and South America to Morocco. Widely considered one of the most influential figures in nuevo flamenco music, this internationally acclaimed guitar virtuoso unites elements of flamenco, rumba, blues, jazz and many forms of world music into his work. The incredible musicianship of Jesse and his band will keep you moving throughout the night with his masterful guitar work commanding the stage with an elegant balance of subtlety, in-the-moment honesty and blazing technical prowess.
