While the heavy rock power trio is a staple of American underground music - Dinosaur Jr, Melvins, Big Black - Canadians arent as convinced that less can actually be more.

War Baby is at Logan's Tavern of the Damned in Victoria BC as part of their Canada-wide tour to prove that three is the highest you ever need to count. They are joined by two other Heavy Power Trios.

War Baby
Vancouver's War Baby is 3 guys that mix one part grunge ugliness, one part perfect pop pitch, one part noise rock abandon. It's new wave for a disfigured world.

Electric Condor
A short and sweet riff-based heavy rock band with old-man lyrics by three men who have always dreamed of being in a bird-themed band.

Black Valley Gospel
Just another post-apocalyptic death rock trio. (Keep an eye on your soul)
