The Provincial Archive is a power trio from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
THE PROVINCIAL ARCHIVE has been honing their craft through dark winters over the last six years, releasing three records, touring the country and travelling the world: all from the remote blue-collar outpost that the band calls home.
In 2015, The Provincial Archive downsized to a trio and one month following the change, a reformed group entered the studio to record, live-off-the floor, with producer Nik Kozub (Shout Out Out Out Out).
The result is a self-titled power-pop confessional, teeming with influence from somewhere between 1994-1996: replete with the dynamics, messy guitars, and fuzzy vocal hooks that hallmark the era.
