The Chan Centre for the Performing Arts at UBC presents virtuosic flamenco guitarist Paco Peña, October 24 at 8pm in the Chan Shun Concert Hall. Widely considered to be the greatest flamenco guitarist in the world “capable of dazzling an audience beyond the frets of mortal[s]” (The New York Times), Peña’s highly anticipated, and newest show, Flamencura, will bring together a distinguished ensemble of guitarists, singers, and dancers in a passionate and fiery tribute to both the rich history and thriving future of flamenco music and dance.
