Event Description

PPP is celebrating 40 years of action by hosting the 22nd Pacific Networking Conference entitled Rising Tides: Our Lands, Our Waters, Our Peoples!
Join us for a 4 day inspirational, transformative learning experience hosted deep in the heart of Coast Salish Territories. This conference aims to unite Indigenous leaders, academics, creative thinkers, and community organizers to stimulate an exchange of knowledge, ideas, experiences, and strategies that strengthen mutual efforts for change!
Together we will build synergy and connection between peoples of the South Pacific, First Peoples of Canada, and members of the wider community while we explore common concerns and engage meaningfully in the discourse surrounding our primary conference themes:
- Land Stewardship
- Environmental Sustainability
- Human Rights
- Governance
- The strengthening of arts and cultural practices
These themes will be explored through keynote speakers, panels, roundtable discussions, as delivered through experiential, transformative learning opportunities at Songhees, Tsartlip, and T’Sou-ke Nations.

We are thrilled to be combining our conference program with our 8th Annual One Wave Festival including the following :
