Event Description

Formed in 2010 after the dissolution of a death metal band, Kamloops, BC’s Van Damsel combines an upbeat, guitar-and-synth driven sound with a positive, relatable message.

Having received regional recognition, including a part in the 2013 Peak Performance Project and winning The Shore 104’s ‘Best of BC’ $10,000 prize, the band is ready to tread uncharted territory. With a fresh sound featuring elements of rock, pop, hip-hop, and EDM, and a boldly personal approach, Van Damsel aims to take the listener on a journey that explores their innermost fears and deepest desires.
