CFUV 101.9 FM and the City of Victoria present:

Eventide Music Series features performances every Thursday night between July 3rd-August 14th from 6-9 PM in Centennial Square.

The outdoor shows will feature the amazing musical talent that is alive right here in Victoria and are completely FREE.

Thurs, July 31st will be an evening featuring:

BUCAN BUCAN is a truly eastern European inspired gypsy folk band. Their authentic sound will definitely get you moving and tapping along. Their mix of traditionally and original tunes keeps the sound reminiscent and fresh.

Building on friendships spanning over 20 years, Victoria based RUBY KARINTO began composing in January 2013. Two women, two men, bass, drums, blips-bleeps-oscillations, trashy, danceable, groovy, No Wave R&B, sung in Japanese and English. Look for a 3 song 7" single to be released fall 2014.

CAROUSELS keeps the gypsy folk theme alive. They are an 8-piece multi-instrument group that pumps out traditionally-inspired sounds for all you folk fans. Their world sound has no trouble filling the entire venue.
