Montreal-based Marianne Trudel is one of the most creative jazz pianists and composers in Canada. An eclectic and award-winning performer with several well-reviewed CDs to her credit, Trudel has shared the stage with such diverse stars as Chucho Valdes, Kenny Wheeler, and Charles Aznavour. Her current trio, Trifolia, produces catchy melodies and solid grooves; this is passionate improvisational music that is both cerebral and exquisitely romantic.
