Gnomadics began in August 2011 as long time friends, Ben Collins, Liam Kendall and Max Wainwright sought avenues for writing and producing their music. Now with Devon Parkin providing rhythms at the drum kit, Gnomadics is a rock and roll band in the most elemental sense. Drawing on influences such as power-pop, garage, surf and glam, the group writes, plays and records in their band practice space in East Vancouver. A democratic song writing process invites stylistic variation; however, the result is almost always loud.
