Event Description
September 15 marks an important evening for those who long for an evening of the good stuff. Stories will be told, the crowd will drink as the band drinks and everyone will go home feeling a little bit better about life and the like. Take a moment to take a listen, Perryscope Concerts and Vogue Productions present a solo performance by The White Buffalo at The Electric Owl on Saturday September 15.
The White Buffalo represents an authentic homage to the times of hard touring, hard drinking artists who truly lived what they sang about. Seamlessly moving from heartfelt ballads to raucous bar songs, The White Buffalo sings with honesty and thoughtful reflection as he wanders the road, sharing his music. Everything about him is big, from his imposing physical size to his amazing vocal range. From his whiskey-drenched, growling lows to heart-stopping highs, The White Buffalo paints a touching picture, whether he stands alone or performs with his energetic, charismatic band.
Influenced by story-tellers like Waylon Jennings, Tom Waits and Bad Religion, the album ranges in themes from slices of life in the shadows ("The Bowery") to coming out of a battlefield ("Ballad of a Deadman") to dark heroic fantasies ("The Pilot,") from putting the concepts of family and country under the microscope ("I Wish It Was True").
