Solo exhibition of Adam Curry paintings.

Adam’s art practice has evolved over decades from a fascination with modern film narrative processes and classical painting techniques. His more recent works use modern forms of media: digital photography, the world wide web, as source materials (the sketch), having them reproduced electronically (the cartoon), and then applying traditional (Dammar Varnish) layered oil painting techniques to create optical effects. Adam’s work references the past while challenging our notions of modern painting.
