A very serious night of house flavours from 4 very serious artists who quite seriously are ready to have you seriously consider getting HOUSE INSURANCE. Did you leave the curling iron on after dolling up? Or perhaps left the dryer going now that your best shirt is wrinkle free? Is the bathtub overflowing cuz you were in a hurry to get to the dance floor? Or did you forget to turn down the heat after deciding you needed to warm up for a night on the town? Maybe there's a tripping hazard at the front door because all your best shoes are piled high after you tried them all on?

Since relocating to BC, Canada in 2011 from Tokyo, Rennie has been hard at work on his third full length album "Floatilla" to be released summer 2012 from Klik Records (Athens)/ wordandsound (Berlin). Rennie Foster has released with Detroit labels such as Motech, Soiree, Subject Detroit, Wallshaker, Teknotika and classic techno labels like F-Communications, Monoid, and Synewave. He has remixed artists such as Swayzak, DJ Bone, Alain Ho, Jaun Atkins and been remixed by a who's who of house and techno music such as James Zabiela, Kiki, Mark Broom, Claude Young, Rodriguez Jr. etc. His tracks appear on mix CDs by the likes of Kevin Saunderson, Trentmoller and Derrick May. He was consistently ranked in the top 50 DJs in Japan by LOUD Magazine and has played venues all across Japan and in cities such as New York, Paris, Frankfurt etc. Rennie is most recognized for his underground anthem "Devil's Water" released from Rebirth Records and has been featured several times in publications like DJ Magazine UK, Mixer, Mixmag, XLR8R etc. His recent hit collaboration with rapper Moka Only "Connect Like Four" was remixed by Samuel L. Session, Uner and members of Cobblestone Jazz and was the most charted track on Resident Advisor for April, 2011. He also had a hit in 2011 with "Savior" featuring the late Aaron Carl on vocals and massive remix by Coyu and Edu Imbernon. Currently, Rennie is working on an EP for Thoughtless Music, collaborating with House Of Ninja NYC and remixing rave legends Altern-8 amongst other things. Rennie Foster’s sound is original, emotive and powerful exploring territory from deep house to high power techno and everything in between, a "DJ's DJ" with a vast knowledge of dance music and no regard for typical rules. ...always full of surprises.

Dotched (of CityOf9s) love of electronica was fueled growing up in Saskatchewan and regularly attending Connect Festival and Galaxy Lounge nights hosted by Dekoze & Dr.J. After moving to Victoria he helped found a popular community radio show on CFUV called Really Good Music along with Rave Victoria originator Davin Greenwell (AKF). The show soon went to commercial airwaves on extreme 107.3 where it hosted the likes of John Digweed, Timo Maas, Moby, Hybrid, Paul Van Dyk and Tiesto. This played a part in his becoming an early host and contributor to the Victoria Electronic Festival. Dotched has always played an eclectic mix of music, from house & progressive, moving into techhouse and techno and now playing a blend of French Electro, Techno and Nu-Disco! Prepare to rediscover this long-time Victoria beatmaker!
NAOMI NICE ::.
With over ten years behind the decks, DJ Naomi Nice has acquired a large variety of music over the years and has played most every club, pub and lounge in the city of Victoria. Self taught, she had her first DJ gig headlining at Lucky Bar after only 6 months behind the decks! Never a dull moment with Ms Nice behind the decks, we never know what gems she will pull out of the bag. She caters her vibe to the audience she is in front of, tossing down funky electro, super sexy house, progressive or disco funk, sometimes a little bit of old school trance beats. Locally, she has held residencies at Suze, Sauce, Temple/Salute, Canoe Club, The Office, and Glo. She was also the resident DJ at the Levi store on Government Street and has played as a live window display for many other clothing stores. No stranger to the microphone, for years she was also a Karaoke MC at Sopranos Karaoke bar. Sometimes she still pulls a microphone out of her back pocket. Her recently acquired international DJ status was gained this past summer when she travelled to Spain to play at the annual festival for the Running of the Bulls. DJ Naomi Nice is what you call a one shop DJ stop! She can do it all. Night Club, Pub, Lounge, Wedding, Art Show, Staff Party, House party ... you name it, she has done it and wants to do it again in the future.
