Event Description
Join over 15 songwriters from Victoria and south Vancouver Island to hear original songs in a lovely acoustic environment. You’ll hear blues, folk, country, jazz, and pop as our songwriters share a song or two. A variety of genres, voices, and personalities guarantees an entertaining afternoon in this intimate, informal, and fun concert.
The Victoria Regional Writer's Group strives to provide its members with the opportunity to foster creative and professional connections with other songwriters, to assist members in honing their craft through facilitated exercises, to provide members with the opportunity to receive feedback on their work and to create an atmosphere that is welcoming to songwriters from all genres and with all levels of ability and experience. From the hobbyist to the professional, the Victoria RWG encourages all of its members to reach for higher and deeper levels of creativity and expression through the craft of songwriting.
