Event Description

This panel concert features Victoria’s finest Ukulele maestros making amazing music on a simple instrument. Ian Johnston, Molly Raher Newman, Laurel Circle, and Paul Laverick will show off the ukulele’s wide range of styles, sounds, and rhythms.
Ian, Molly, and Laurel have performed in Victoria for years as soloists and in groups like Rig-a-Jig and the Ukuladies, while Paul works, teaches, and performs at Larsen Music. Backed up by Roger Tallentyre on bass, the group will solo and combine for fun and harmony, ending with a rousing group finale. Come see why uke-playing has become a worldwide movement — and be ready to be surprised!
