Josh Martinez and The Pissed Off Wild
The Pissed Off Wild is an amalgamation of 60s psych rock, hip hop, punk, rock, and even hardcore influences, which translates into their own original brand of surf rockin punk-hop. Their front man Josh Martinez, legendary inflammatory Canadian hip hop icon and lyricist, describes their sound as Beach Boys melodies and Jay-Z butter vocals but without as much Jay-Z. But on a more serious note I see our sound being a mix of The Zombies, rage against the machine and some of my own songs. The Pissed Off Wild are Josh Martinez (vocals and raps), Kenton Loewen (drums), and Pete Schmitt (bass). Josh Martinez has built a solid reputation around the world for his engaging wordplay, butter melodies and high-energy live performances. His live show has captivated audiences and spread his reputation as one of the best live performers out there. Kenton Loewen is a versatile and talented drummer who plays everything from funk to rock, hip hop and folk, to jazz and punk. He is also the drummer for Submission Hold and the session drummer on the latest Po Girl Release. Pete Schmitt a diverse bassist who has laid grooves for free jazz, punk, grooves, soul and rock n roll. Look out for the latest Josh Martinez LP Buck Up Princess out now on Camobear Records/Bella Union.

Dirty Blonde
Dirty Blonde is already making a splash with their new New Wave sound. Taking cues from legends such as Joy Division, New Order, The Rapture and early Smiths, Dirty Blonde are forging a new path in the early 80s dance electro set, but this time with a bit of a punk edge. They are a super group who totally understands the powers of looking good while sounding even better. Their live shows are nasty fuzzed out hooked laden anthems who snarl at you with attitude. They are so impressive that in a short time theyve been signed to Sound Virus records (www.sound-virus.com) along side a stellar lineup boasting Pretty Girls Make Graves and Death From Above. Dirty Blonde is Forbes (vocals), Daniella (Keys), Pete (guitar and vocals), Shayz (bass) and Dom (drums). Dirty Blonde EP hits shops later this summer on (www.sound-virus.com and CMJ in the New York in October.

Dj Moves
Moves is a Canadian rap veteran of 15 years. He helped pioneer the Halifax rap scene as a member of Hip Club Groove (Murder Records/MCA) and went on to produce tracks for tons of local Canadian rap legends (i.e Moka Only, Birdapres, Governor Bolts, Mindbender, Pipi Skid, Buck 65, The Goods, Tachichi, Josh Martinez, SixToo, Awol One and many, many others). He's also in a platinum pop group (Len) and even was the tour deejay for a gay fiddler (Ashley McIssac). His Low Pressure Records label has released over 9 albums that he's produced and his discography is longer than the Great Wall of China. Over the years he's toured all over North America and Europe and has shared the stage with Eve, Ja Rule, Naughty By Nature, Kardinal, Choclaire, and Styles Of Beyond, among others. He's some what of a legend in this Canadian rap scene and he makes seriously dope beats. Look out for the full length Awol One/ Dj Moves- Angel Bat on Camobear Records later this year.

My!gay!husband!
My!gay!husband! is easily one of Vancouvers hardest working djs. His sets will include anything and everything from hip hop, rock, 80s, electro, psychedelic, punk, old schooljust about anything to make you wet your pants while dancing.
