Event Description

Led by Juan de Marcos Gonzalez: Cuban bandleader, producer, impresario extraordinaire and the gifted visionary behind the Buena Vista Social Club recordings, the Afro-Cuban All Starts showcases the best of three generations of outstanding Cuban musicians and singers. This 12-member big band brilliantly captures the fiery spirit of Cuba’s popular music. Their electrifying performances showcase the wealth, diversity and vitality of Cuban music, marrying the past and present with the polish of the world’s greatest orchestras.
