A little about Firebrand:
Emerging from the depths of Vancouver's lowly underground, a new breed of energy rock has arrived! Here to bring you to your feet and make you feel the pulse of a generation lost; shake you like an apple out of a tree and wake you from your somber existence. If you like rock, if you like it hard, and if you like it good, you have found your answer.
A little about Lust:
It all started on a hot spring day in another shithole of a city. Two kids from the underground, lookin' to make a name for themselves, in a city overrun by old people and bored cops something wild was brewing. "We were looking for a riot but everyone was lookin' to collect stamps and do homework and we said 'fuck that!", retaliates Frontman / Lead vocalists Jack Gypsy.
When all the odds were against them and seemingly nobody in there corner they set out to put music "back on trakk".
Through trials of blood and countless line up changes, Jack and Bassist / Vocals Rex Razor persevered and imported two crazy fuckin' rockers from the other coast with the same taste for destruction and sleaze as Jack 'n' Rex. With Guitarist / Vocals Cocklin Jones and Guitarist / Vocals Codine Vandal in the mix, things were lookin' deadly but something was missin'…. a Drummer. So through Countless auditions and no luck it was almost time to mail order, or manufactures a skin destroyer.
Then…. “One night fucked on Mr.Daniels and too many cigarettes, Cocklin gets a call from a madman yellin' about fuckin' motherz and nitrous bombs, we knew right away this was a serious dude, ready to make some noize" Clarifies Rex.
With an attitude enough to make GG Allin blush and a stage presence like an inferno, drummer Hep 'Jay' was missing link and a party animal to boot. So with the crüe formed, ready for debauchery with a taste for cyanide and gasoline the world was for the taking’.
Fast forward a year so blurry it gives me vertigo. In all the excess=success lifestyle tensions started to rise in the group, so to remedy the situation the band did the only thing they could do to keep the train rollin'....lose the baggage. Now with codine gone, the band decided to look for a new guitarist, to no avail. after looking too hard the band almost gave up when fate came a knockin' in the visage of A.C. Desylva. With an opening line like "this is the band i've always wanted to be in" we had to give him a chance, "so the next night at jam he came and played the intro to 'hot for teacher' and we were floored, i mean think about a wet dream ....When your awake!" says Jack. After a couple of riotous nights breaking in the new guitar hero, Lus‡ is back and better then ever ready to destroy.
"Lock up your daughters and hold on tight, it's gonna be the fuckin rollercoaster of DOOM'N'DEBAUCHERY!"
