Event Description
Our annual Jazz 101 session is now in its 5th year. This two hour introductory lecture by librarian/musician Ross Bliss is designed for the novice listener or musician. It traces the history and evolution of jazz in simple easy to understand terms. Please join us for and entertaining evening of music and learning!
Also, watch for the upcoming Jazz Festival Sessions May 31st, June 7th and 14th at VPL, a follow-up to Jazz 101 that will help you get ready for the 2007 edition of the TD Canada Trust Vancouver International Jazz Festival.
