The Vans Warped Tour® is well established as North America’s longest-running touring festival, breaking up-and-coming indie talent as well as showcasing established artists for the past 12 years. It has cemented its place in history by playing a major role in bringing punk-rock/skate/action sports culture from the underground to the forefront of North American youth culture, while at the same time creating awareness and taking action towards environmental and causes and helping those in need. Now in its 13th year, the Vans Warped Tour® is back and better than ever.
Bands for the 45-date tour that Alternative Press readers voted the “Best Tour/Festival” of 2006 and Rolling Stone called “America’s most successful festival” (2005) have been revealed. Bad Religion, The Used, New Found Glory, K-OS, and Pennywise are just a few of the bands that will perform at the Vans Warped Tour® this year. This festival has always been a great way to see both well established and up and coming bands at the same show, and this year is no different. Set Your Goals, All Time Low, The Sessions and Karate High School are just some of the bands who’s names you may not be immediately recognizeable now, but after their stint on the Vans Warped Tour®, that will all change.
The Vans Warped Tour® isn’t just a concert – it’s an experience. In addition to over 55 bands, this years festival will feature the Brothers Grimm Sideshow, Take Action! Area, Girlz Garage, AT&T signing stage, Revolution Mother performing on the skate ramp and more!
