KOSTAMAN - Kostaman is a highly energized Whistler World-Beat Reggae band! Established June 2004 in Whistler BC, Canada. This six member band consists of the following: Kostaman on lead guitar, lead vox, and percussion; Jana Marie on lead and backup vox; Phil-T-Beats on percussion; Rajan Das on double bass and electric bass; Rob Funk on drums and backup vox; DJ Phroh spreading the love on turntables. Kostaman released their first EP ,"Setting Roots ", in December 2005 and is now working closely with a producer on the next professional recording project. TONY BALONY and the RUBES - Constantly releasing new material, Balony's skilled guitar work and clever arrangements scream throughout the songs with raw gritty soulful vigor. Joined by Walter Brady and Alex Koch, this hot band continues to carve exciting new paths through the musicscape with their new CD "Standing Rubes Only" and powerful live performances. Throughout his career he has shared stages with many of the Planet's legendary rockers from the Ramones, the Cramps, X, Bad Religion and NOFX to - well, Bay City Rollers. He has jammed with Amiee Mann, confounded Timothy Leary ("That blows my mind" Dr.T.L.) and punched a wild bear (also true).
TRANSYLVANIAN POLKA is a modern power prog trio specializing in diversity. They've amazed audiences all across Canada since 2004 with their incredible chops, unconventional arrangements, vocal harmonies and their dynamic intensity. Evan Symons on vocals and guitar has been an important member of the Vancouver scene for nearly 20 years and is known for his uncompromising independant diligence, masterful guitar technique, powerful stage presence and bizarre sense of style. Tania Gosgnach on vocals and piano is a classically trained virtuouso who contributes exploding colours to everything she touches. Jakub Svoboda is a jaw dropping machine with his awe inspiring drumming prowess that solidifies the power and depth normally associated with a much larger ensemble. BABOON TORTURE DIVISION - Consumed by his addiction to filmmaking, Chris Hixon'searly animations resemble Stan Brakhage style video art, exploring texture, rhythm, and color. During the 1990's, he produced a public access TV show, and made dozens of narrative stop-motion pieces, and discovered computer-aided animation techniques. His most recent work has been exploring the layering, greenscreen, and compositing abilities of modern effects software.
