Sara Marreiros Quartet

Victoria�s Portuguese purists have an extra-big smile when they think about Sara Marreiros, whose understanding of the raw and passionate realm of fado runs deep. Sara is a well-rounded singer and her performances are a lively mix of fado, lilting Brazilian tunes, and highly polished jazz gems. Check out her excellent 2002 release, Alma de Terra.
