As of May 19, 2012, 'our' Museum is finally open and getting a lot of visitors, both locally and already from outside our community. The small gathering of 'officials' for the Friday Night celebration offered some special presentations and an appearance by 'James Dunsmuir' himself, thanks to the Ladysmith Theatre. The Exhibits were praised by all and the refreshments were plenty. The Opening Day on Saturday received over 125 visitors, many spending quite some time looking at the displays and reading about Ladysmith History. All agreed that the Museum is a great asset to the Town of Ladysmith and the Historical Society.
If you have not have a chance yet to visit, do so soon! Old and young, newcomer or old-timer, local or tourist will surely learn something new about the Community and enjoy many of the stories told.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
