I run a working pottery studio and gallery right on the Cowichan Bay waterfront called The Mud Room Clayworks. You can watch me create pieces while browsing the shelves of finished pots.
I took my first pottery class while working in Alaska as a fisheries observer. When I was looking for a career change this pottery shop happened to be for sale and that's how I ended up here. I was very fortunate to have the previous owner, Jana Kaminski, spend a month with me before handing over the reigns. She taught me a lot, including her famous yellow dragonfly glaze and design, which I am very proud to continue making for our wonderful customers.
I've learned a whole lot over the years and continue to be amazed by what can be made out of a lump of clay. Come down, have a look , and share your ideas with me!
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
