SUMMER CAMP šŸ¤  - July 23 to 25th
From July 23 - 25th, join us at Summer Camp - an exploration of theatricality and the esoteric.
ā This weekend-long celebration is inspired by Susan Sontagā€™s prophetic essay ā€œNotes on Campā€™. The exhibition draws on the key concepts of unabashed enjoyment, the anti-serious, and stylization. You can expect the unexpected (and over 20 fresh works of art), as well as performances, food & drink, and fun things to do.ā 

July 23: Opening party, 6 - 10pm
Live painting, preformances, wine

July 24: Open 10am - 8pm
Live music in the evening

July 25: Open 10am - 4pm
Local market including over 10 local small businesses

While camp may seem like all fun and games, it has deep roots in marginalised communities. It is a tool for resistance used by queer and Black communities for generations. You can see our Reading List HERE to learn more about the definition of camp, as well as it's history.
