Cheeky User Info... | I was a sweet innocent 12 year old when I first heard Braking the Law by Judas Priest. 6 years later, with hundreds of dollars spent on t-shirts, posters, and of course collecting all of their albums and dvds, I finally saw them. They took the colliseum last night by storm and I can finally say that I can die happy now. With such classics as electric eye, beyond the realms of death, hell bent for leather and of course many's favorite braking the law and living after midnight, priest delivered vancouver a spectacular show, actually theres no real good words to describe the show. The boys were dressed in their best leather and studs, with halford having many costume changes as elton john. They changed the set up frequently and Halford rode out on his spiffy bike. I sang along to every single song, including their new stuff and was amazed at the proformance these guys can deliver. O and anthrax played too. "Braking the WHAT?!" - Mon, 24 Oct 2005 6:52pm
Robnoxious User Info... | Rob Halford is the best vocalist on the planet hands down (who care's about his preferences, it's the music that matters). Glen Tipton has the best guitar tone I ever heard in concert and KK Downing a close second (Jeff Loomis of Nevermore is still the most impressive player I've witnessed). Rich sound and lights. Loved the trap door with a puff of smoke effect for Touch Of Evil. Halford looked like Dracula or Lestat in the trenchcoat smoking jacket. 4 songs from the new album - Judas Rising, Revolution, Hellrider and Worth Fighting For - plus all the hits. My highlight was Victim Of Changes. - Mon, 24 Oct 2005 7:46pm

Akylore User Info... | Must agree with everyone whole-heart-edly..."Painkiller" was what got me into metal half my age ago. Let's face it man, Ozzy's washed up, Metallica started sucking over a decade ago, and as legendary as Slayer is, well, their newer stuff doesn't really grip me at all....but Judas Priest is still strong and still doing what they've always done. 30 years of (literally) wielding the flag and banners of metal, and Rob (or should I say "Lord" Halford with his exotic wardrobe, haha) hasn't declined a bit!!!! His vocals were fucking amazing!! Judas Priest has and is and will always represent, and never disappoint!!! I was in the 15th row as well, worth my $80, hands down!!! Anthrax was fucking wicked too, with Joey Belladonna back in the fold! They mostly played stuff off "Among the Living," with that self-titled track, "N.F.L.," "Cry for the Indians," and some stuff off "Persistence of Time" as well!!! Great 80's thrash reunion!!! I haven't been to a stadium show as big as this since I saw Prong/Sepultura/Pantera during their Chaos A.D./Far Beyond Driven tour in '94, so seeing a show like this (without having to sit through shitty bands) was grand. Worth every penny! - Tue, 25 Oct 2005 12:37am
Guitar Player User Info... | Don't you guys know that "breaking the law" is about having anal sex with underage boys? You should all be ashamed of youselves for supporting such a band! - Tue, 25 Oct 2005 12:27pm
Robnoxious User Info... | Hey Guitar Player, if you really are. Doesn't matter what the song is about. Both Judas Priest axemen kill you. I can say that without even hearing you play TROLL. - Tue, 25 Oct 2005 1:58pm
CC User Info... | theres all kinds of rumours as to what songs are about and i doubt that youre right on that one people try to read into lyrics and find some clever little meaning in there its a priest anthem and probably the only thing they were trying to do was have a rebellious chorus to get young people to dig it and sing along... guess what ??.....it worked!! this guy w/the name guitar player.....is most likely just trying to start shit on here anyhow..........the show ruled !!!!!!!! and ive seen about 150 shows in my life thus far i can say this was super cool it looked like the band was having fun and so that rubs off on the crowd for sure not like these mostly overly angry nu-metal bands i like agression in music but only to a certain level after that its just not believable priest rocked and made it fun for the crowd that new tune called Judas Rising was way heavy and yes victim of changes topped the set along with pain killer priest might have some cheese in thier music and in thier show but its pretty light hearted and i hate people who are too uptight to get it fuckin killer old grandpas up there givn'er just as well as they ever did dont miss the next one!!!!! Blazin80 User Info... | Show was Great! Saw them at Ozzfest 2 years ago for the first time and this show was equally as good. I definetly agree with CC that Victim Of Changes was the song of the night! - Wed, 26 Oct 2005 6:47pm
Jaron Evil User Info... | Best show ever, period! - - Thu, 27 Oct 2005 12:34am
Kyle User Info... | So good... We missed most of Anthrax which is okay, but damn if they didn't look like they were having a lot of fun. Priest was tastefully understated, as usual. A fine evening of metal. - Thu, 27 Oct 2005 9:38pm
