Shawn User Info... | I can't get enough of OMC. With now the band being 2/3 members of Dimmu Borgir (although it is Galder's band, but of course you all know that) they are tighter and more intense than on the last few albums. It contains the spirit of Ill-Natured Spiritual Invasion but with far better production. Synths arn't overused, but still used enough. And Nick Barker on drums is DEFINATELY an improvement. And of course Galder does absolutely everything. All in all, good album. On another tangent, I bought this at A&B Sound and they are having a big metal promo month so everything is on sale. So because of this they threw in a Century Media sampler. I just want to say that Century Media sure do sign a lot of shit. Yakuza? Lacuna Coil? Into Eternity? These bands along side fucking Vital Remains, Aborted, and Immolation to name few, will constantly boggle my mind. thats my rant. - Fri, 19 Sep 2003 8:54am

Danny Silverfish User Info... | barker made that album all the coolest parts are surrounding his playing - Fri, 19 Sep 2003 6:28pm
Shawn User Info... | I dont know man, the kick drum on this album is far less audible than Dimmu Borgir for example, I know they're not the same band but that's what I enjoy about Nick Barker's drumming style. - Fri, 19 Sep 2003 10:16pm
greg User Info... | This band really blows.... - Sat, 20 Sep 2003 7:59pm
Akylore User Info... | OMC's "The Pagan Prosperity" was the only album I bothered keeping, that album has decent melodies and some symphonic structure to it (especially that song 'The Millenium King,' the additional clean vocals rule!) But even though Gene Hoglan is a rad drummer he couldn't really save "Ill Natured Spiritual Invasion" (boring repetitive riffs.) Not that Gene Hoglan could ever save Devin Townsend, mind you, but that's another paragraph-and-a-half-slag-rant. The point is that although Nick's drumming is pretty much always impressive, whether it was to be Nick or Gene, this album is fucking-A! The songwriting is way more progressive and the riffs are catchier. Having Nick definitely makes it a plus, though. - Tue, 23 Sep 2003 10:31pm
