The Other NIck User Info... | Not as great as I hoped but but still fucking rad! 7/10 minuses come from: a) Bad cheesy lead parts on every song (there are 4 songs) ..."the swan road" album has such memorable leads...i know they can do better!! b) A slight lack of balls ...the 3rd song is almost "Pop"y in the begining c) Drum sound ...Snare sounds like the snare from St. Anger, and the kicks are really thin d) Not too many new ideas ...several riffs sound similar to the last track on the of "blood in our wells" and the whole "anti-urban" ep pluses: -strong vocals -really really good prominent bass!!!!! which is new -10min + songs!!! -strong sense of sorrow middle ground: -several sections with blast beats keep it still in the "extreme metal" category -only 36min long...keeps it from being really really epic, which is the direction the album is heading in. i still have to give this a couple more listens to decide where it stands compared to the rest of their catologue... Bryan User Info... | After Songs of Grief and Solitude and Anti-Urban I'm kind of questioning if this will even be worth the time it would take me to download it... - Mon, 3 Sep 2007 12:46am Edited: Mon, 3 Sep 2007 12:46am
Mutilashawn User Info... | possibly more - Mon, 3 Sep 2007 12:07pm
The Other Nick User Info... | Yes it is well worth the time. Sounds in between forgotton legends and blood in our wells. Nothing like Songs Of G & S and only sort of like Anti-Urban - Mon, 3 Sep 2007 8:42pm
Nicholas Antoni Marek Gibas User Info... | I almost kind of agree with most of what Nick is saying here. Except for the whole "3rd song is kind of pop'y" thing. Overall i'd maybe bump it up to an 7.5/10 and maybe an 8 as i'm just first listening to this all right now for the first time. - Tue, 4 Sep 2007 12:49am
The Other Nick User Info... | i just got my copy in the mail today...very nice packaging.....the underside of the cd is green, not silver CD which is cool...the cover and inside photos are the standard really rad forest photos....a couple of pages of cryptic pencil drawings of scenery....lyrics in ukrainian and english!!...and NO other information whatsoever. I can hear faint clean guitar behind the distorted guitars now which i couldnt in the mp3's which is cool (black lotus style) - Tue, 4 Sep 2007 7:58pm
