Platoon User Info... | This is an amazing song by the regrouped Obituary. I am looking forward to Frozen in Time. I don't think the new Obituary could possibly be bad. - Thu, 19 May 2005 3:14pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | New Obituary?!? Cool... http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/artists/Obituary/music.aspx - Thu, 19 May 2005 9:56pm
Neil User Info... | It's the same stuff! Again! - Fri, 20 May 2005 3:35am
_Griphin_ User Info... | I dunno, I just listened to the track and it actually sounds better then what Obituary has released before, but there still using bits/tricks of what they've done before, if you could explain it that way. I, for one, can't wait to hear the new album, IMO. - Fri, 20 May 2005 6:49am
Dr.DoomXXX User Info... | If it's still Allen West on axe and the singer still sounds the same I don't think I wanna even bother hearing it. - Fri, 20 May 2005 12:57pm
Hagberg User Info... | I recently saw Obituary play, and they were incredible. They played classic material like 'Slowly we Rot', 'Solid State', and 'Chopped in Half'...as well as new stuff. I think the new record will not be at all dissapointing if its as awesome as how they sounded live. - Mon, 23 May 2005 4:24am
ML7Mike User Info... | Tardy better sound the same or it just wont be Obituary.. Dr Doom you newb! Fuck Id love to see Obituary live, and its awesome they still play their classics, although Id have to say they never relived their first two albums greatness. I saw Trevor Peres other band play with The Haunted a few years ago, I forget what they were called but they were very boring live. They should bring James Murphy back onboard for an album or a few songs. - Mon, 23 May 2005 8:08am
Dr.DoomXXX User Info... | newb?! If there's one thing all metal elitists have in common it's a dislike for obituary. "I don't, care what they say, I'll do what I want!" ...............sounds so childish. The only reason they haven't retired is 'cause they're poor and don't sell any albums. - Mon, 23 May 2005 8:08pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | I must not be a metal elitest, cause I like Obituary. Aww... bummer! - Mon, 23 May 2005 8:35pm
ML7Mike User Info... | except Obituary were putting out death metal albums when you were about 4 years old.. 'metal elitist' sounds like something out of some nerdy kids D&D game :D "You have slain the angst ridden troll and have become a 9th level Metal Elitist!" With that said, I would agree that anything after Cause Of Death was quite boring to me, but that album and Slowy We Rot were great! Can you name a death metal band that arent poor? - Mon, 23 May 2005 9:53pm
SpeNxoR .|. User Info... | The fact that they were puting out cds when we were kids dosn't mean anything. They still suck. Whats up with the newb call? Do u evan know dr.doomxxx? - Tue, 24 May 2005 2:08pm

XY-SATAN User Info... | More like do you know ML7Mike ? And yes he knows Dr.D pretty damn well as do I . You've mistaken friendly ribbing as internet hijinks. Now come on Dr.D I saw that Ricky Martin poster cleverly covered over by that Slayer poster !LOL! - Tue, 24 May 2005 3:57pm

Dr.DoomXXX User Info... | Sounds like a really sad/shitty tracklist. - Tue, 31 May 2005 9:07pm
ML7Mike User Info... | I like this album. Its a real return to the sounds/style of Cause Of Death, but without Murphy's killer soloing. Alot better than the 'label contract requirement' albums which followed and helped pushed Obituary into obscurity. John Tardy is on it with his vocals again, and Donald Tardy's drums are tight and recorded well. Nothing super fancy, standard Trevor Peres tuned down 5th note riffage, but the production goes a long way towards making this a killer release in 2005. One of the original death metal bands of the 90's, who broke so many barriers with Cause oF Death, are back again! Dr Doom, its better than the Menudo setlist boi! - Wed, 1 Jun 2005 7:06am
_Griphin_ User Info... | Hey Glenn, thanks for letting us know that one of the MP3 groups ripped the new Obituary :), albeit it's a promo. - Wed, 1 Jun 2005 7:22am
ML7Mike User Info... | I got the full album, no promo inserts or voiceovers from Kerrazy-Torrents - Wed, 1 Jun 2005 7:25am
_Griphin_ User Info... | Thankgod, no voice overs!!! So I took a listen to the album, I was pretty impressed with it. The first track really pulls ya in, there are some low points but not a big deal. I give it a thumbs up!!! - Wed, 1 Jun 2005 7:30am
Lordpatch User Info... | "slowly we rot" does deathmetal get any better from back in DA day. - Fri, 10 Jun 2005 12:46pm
