_Griphin_ User Info... | Well it took a few listens, but I have to give this Sum 41 CD a thumbs up! Well worth listening to, it's really hard to say what my favorite songs are. It seems there's a lot more slower songs on this CD then there was on there other discs, but it's still worth listening to. Thumbs up!!! - Mon, 10 Jan 2005 4:16pm
The One After Two User Info... | I'll agree griphin. Not a big Sum 41 fan but a decent disc. Lots of slower stuff and big sound production. - Mon, 10 Jan 2005 9:16pm
Lorenzo de Sequera User Info... | The heavier and faster stuff is defnitely worth a listen, but I wasn't too keen on the slower stuff. - Sat, 15 Jan 2005 3:32pm

goofus User Info... | if sum41 is music then your right, i dont listen to much music, only the first ten seconds it takes me to realize a fake band and turn it off - Mon, 7 Feb 2005 6:23pm
The One After Two User Info... | goofus... its just a band. A band that used to be like every band in this town. If you don't like pop music thats great for you... but if you think Sum 41 is THE GAYEST, then you need get cable... it gets a lot gayer. - Mon, 7 Feb 2005 9:38pm

the_backs User Info... | i listened to this album and most and the heavy songs are all metallica, sum41 just stole like 1 riff from each song kinda thing - Thu, 23 Jun 2005 8:31pm
Brendan User Info... | Goofus does have a point about the fake band thing. I kinda like Sum, 'cause I'm a sucker for pop music, but they're no less produced than Britney Spears. Until this last tour, they really couldn't do their own songs justice playing live. The recordings obviously rely on some heavy editing and high production value. I saw them in Van a few years ago and we all left the show making fun of them, 'cause they flat out sucked. When I heard them on the radio a year later they were super tight. Then I saw them on TV after that and.... wait for it.... they still sucked live! I think I've made my point and am far too hung over to keep going. - Tue, 28 Jun 2005 9:02am
jackass User Info... | it's hard to reproduce heavily layered and auto-tuned vocals live. - Wed, 6 Jul 2005 9:18am
Brendan O'Byrne User Info... | Although Auto Tune is an option live. Which makes them worse..... or better......? - Wed, 6 Jul 2005 11:15pm
jay fatso User Info... | hands down, mike tyson is a better boxer...really. - Mon, 11 Jul 2005 10:11pm
Pubert User Info... | boy o boy, what a fantastic album. i just can't say enough. pinch me, pinch me, i can't believe it's out! holy fucking shit! whacka whacka whacka - Mon, 8 Aug 2005 9:31pm
ska-t User Info... | speaking of auto-tuned vocals... the lead singer of the Offspring couldn't sing in tune if his life depended on it.. great sounding traks though, too bad he can't do it live. but I guess it doesn't matter cuz they've got "punk cred". haha - Mon, 8 Aug 2005 11:30pm
The One After Two User Info... | I don't to make everyone barf at the same time on LiveVic... but Blink 182 is also the same. I think they put out decent pop records, but live, not so good. - Tue, 9 Aug 2005 10:46am
SublimeKid User Info... | Sum 41 were cool before Treble Charger decided they were getting old and needed a band to live through...if you compare their sounds this CD sounds like Treble Charger . There is the exception of a few heavier songs that sound like a pop band trying to cover metal. I would like to see more of the Slayer and Megadeth sound they preach about being so influenced by.... They were actually good for a punk-pop band though IMHO.. I saw them at Fox Fest a looong time ago and they were good live then.....when they weren't making a lot of money..go figure.. - Tue, 16 Aug 2005 10:56am
jackass User Info... | i saw a feature on Much of Sum41 in the Congo. Crazy. Towards the end of their stay, a couple of rebel groups started a war between each other just around where Sum41 was staying. They ended up being evacuated by a dude named Chuck from the UN. The guy was totally cool under pressure and that's why they named the album after him. - Mon, 22 Aug 2005 12:07pm
jdsony User Info... | There are some decent songs on their album but I think they pulled off their last two albums much better. This album is trying to be heavier but is lacking. I agree about the Metallica ripoffs. One song is just like "Battery" and there is another song that is in some parts totally ripping off "One" there may be more but I haven't noticed. Personally I think they were much much better at writing more happy pop punk rather than the darker sound mixed with ballads. Their song with Iggy Pop is a much more suitable style. Don't get me wrong, Metal is what I like but I like it to be a lot more technical and interesting which Sum 41 isn't able to pull off. - Fri, 2 Sep 2005 10:48am
