Steel Beach User Info... | An unabashed in your face and raise your middle finger in the air, to the NEOCONS and Government in general, rush of non-stop energy. From the moment Lead Man - Ghosty Boy screams into the megaphone and tells the masses to STAND UP...you obey and relish every protest, anger driven beat. In a change up you melt and feel the pain and passion in their ballad to get our soldiers home in Holy Land. There is not one song that doesn't have you thinking, moving, or playin your steering wheel like an imaginary drum. The best thing is this masterpiece of a CD translates even better if you see Funk Vigilante live! - Sun, 27 Sep 2009 8:19am

Steel Beach User Info... | thanks...I think....Seen the band live twice now and cant wait for the 3rd time on Oct 3rd! If you could bottle their stage energy the world would have no energy crisis and each and every guy I have talked to in the band is genuine and approachable.... - Sun, 27 Sep 2009 9:08pm
Nicholas Antoni Marek Gibas User Info... | Why are they Canadians rapping about American politics? Would I listen to people from Mozambique write songs about the politics of Norway? This is so ridiculous. This is CANADA. No wonder idiots like Stephen Harper get in. Too busy writing songs about AMERICAN presidents? Jesus fucking christ. - Mon, 28 Sep 2009 4:21am
_Griphin_ User Info... | Interesting song, are they really Canadian? It sounds like there copying the Red Hot Chili Peppers to me, I dunno. Their music didn't hook me. Now name me a band from Mozambique that writes songs about the politics of Norway and I'd listen to the band!!! :) Ah shit, these guys are from Victoria? :( http://funkvigilante.com/Bio.shtml BTW: Is it me or is that song TOO long? - Mon, 28 Sep 2009 11:59pm Edited: Tue, 29 Sep 2009 12:10am
Steel Beach User Info... | Hell ya they are from Victoria and Worst President is not even their best song. My favorite is the title track. I'm not going to get into their pollitics though...also they make no bones about it that they have a Chilli's flavor as well as a mix Rage....But instead of cutting a band up based on a goof video they did, (which I personally find hillarious and entertaining) and for a local band the production is stellar, you should listen to all their songs. I am pretty sure if you like rock you will find one in there. - Tue, 29 Sep 2009 6:17am Edited: Tue, 29 Sep 2009 6:19am
Swingin' Joe User Info... | I think the "Fuck you Mr. President" part in the end is a little juvenile. And the spitting at the camera? That's a little much... - Sat, 3 Oct 2009 8:06pm
Master Joda User Info... | As much as I have played this CD and let me tell you that is an endless amount of times...I still can't get sick of it. That in itself is a testiment to how well this CD was made....And I can't wait to see them live when they support The Kiltlifters on New Years Eve for the wicked show I put together.... - Thu, 3 Dec 2009 4:12pm
