MissEm User Info... | Amps to Eleven, The Panic, Bad Goth Band :( ??? yah, we went to this gig, weird mix of people. sad emo kids for amps to eleven, listening to the glam rocked out sad girlfriend songs (borderline country), cute 80s kids for the panics dance tunes, and goth kids for that bad goth band, who i cant remember the name of. amps to eleven weren't TOO train wreck horrible, they could lose some of the rock star poses tho, the music is pretty OK (gigantic egos tho) the band members were friendly, and the music, well its listenable, though i would never spend any money on it, they had a cool mic stand, but they never turned it on. too much flash and not much content. the panic, i didnt get to see ,so i cant voice an opinion, i was in the smoke tent for most of their show, but i saw them, they were in the smoke tent alot of the night, and are just all generally nice, fun people to chat to, funny as hell too. i did hear from my friends who were inside that they were good though. and they dont have that nasty rock star attitude that amps to eleven seem to possess, it gets old quick the bad goth band, well, lets just say that they are a bad goth band, the musicians were talented, much more than i can say for the singer tho, he sounded like the chicken lady, i do like some goth bands, but they really need to rethink the singer, oh and please, if you weigh 98 lbs and are PASTEY white, lets just leave the clothing on ok? its bad enough having to look at your chicken boy body thru the cheap vinyl pantaloons. i have a feeling that it wasnt the vodka that made me puke so many times that night, it was, in actuality, images of the singers small-boy-like nakedness that kept flashing thru my head causing jolts of dry heaving thru my entire body. for the love of god, next time you play, (if that ever happens) leave your clothing on, maybe, if you insist on the gothic look, go for that edward scissorhands over done leather clad look, at least it wont make your head look quite so gigantic. oh, the bad goth name was gashly crumb...bring welding goggles if you plan to go to a gig wiht this band, the singer of amps to eleven had the right idea by bringing his to sheild himself from the singer of gashly crumbs glowing white body. - Mon, 3 Mar 2003 10:30pm | ||
