| the M awards!! | Last night Monday Magazine had the first anual M awards! The event was at Legends and a very good cross section of Victoria's arts community was there. Bill Hilly band walked away with best local band and best local show..although that was because many of Vic's best bands were not nominated because people just did not know about the M's..next year should be great! hope to see you all there! - Wed, 26 Feb 2003 1:23pm | ||

You probably vomited because deep down inside you know that most of the "rock you love" is just reguritated blues and sooner than you think you're going to be a forty-year-old balding man/woman with a beer gut hanging out at blues jams and talking about how unknown Joe-the-also-balding-blues-musician is rippin' it up tonight. The Bill Hilly Band can play better than anyone you'd care to name, anyone! minus a few musicians who have also evolved beyond rock. I've got my fair share of devoted space in the collection, but to say that it is the be all & end all is outrageously obtuse & poorly thought out at that. "evolved beyond rock"- there is only one creature that has evolved beyond rock & that is Avril Levigne. You are not Avril so fuck yourself.
