| Sati User Info... | EXCELLENT SHOW! Great work by Evil Arnie, wicked turnout, no pretention, a lot of people having a great time. I haven't had that much fun at local metal in a long while. I never thought anyone could follow ("Zu-KISS" that night) and pull it off, but Demyse actually did it, they're totally turning out to be one really great fucking band! No surprises with the rest, since they're pretty proven, AW & D were everything I'd expected, v. nicely done. Each Descension show is a lesson I learn from (cuz I really know nothing of BM). I watch, I think, I get swept up and thats pretty cool. And props to them for just being cool people, patient with those who may not get it yet, and good sports about all the crap that goes on and not letting it get in their way. Now thats how you earn respect! How these bands can treat their stuff so seriously yet still make sure everyone has a great time is.. the way its done. Cannot BELIEVE no one swatted Jesse etc for their wigs & Kiss makeup and big goofy grins though, I was telling everyone to, ha! And sitting in a dress, breaking into an a-capella version of Beth mid-set (for Wendy), and ROCKING THE HOUSE with it? Someone shoulda hit him, and HARD! (where the hell were all the metalheads I thought would be at this show, not that there weren't lots taking up their space, I gave up trying to get away from people cuz there was just nowhere left to go!) p.s. to the farter in the pit, go to the drugstore and get some help, you rude fuck. ZUCKUSS!!! I can't believe how many people are getting that band these days, were some out-of-towners? THAT was cool! | Mr. Hell User Info... | I was also in Van. In fact, I drove right by the Cobalt on my way to the hotel and saw a few choice scuzzers outside. I was only in town to relax and get away from Sucktoria for a night though, so no metal show for me...plus I hear Tommy Crommy wasn't there, so my hard drug buddy wouldn't have been around.
