V-DUB User Info... | First was the opening band or should I say person, Cadence Weapon. Not really my bag. One guy talking and shouting over beats. Kind of a beat poet meets urban politics. Maybe there is some people that dig that but it wasn't for me. His beats were great and He did seem to have some fans, so I am sure we'll see more of Cadence in the Future. Anyway once Bedouin Soundclash came on the vibe changed. It was upbeat from start to finish. The whole crowd was into it. They had two special guests as well. One planned the other by chance. The first guest was well known reggae singer Vernon Maytone. He got the crowd on their feet and dancing. He really knew how to get everyone going. Later everyone got a bit of a surprise when K-OS was called to the stage with a beer in his hand. He was at the show so the guys invited him up for an improvised version of "Crucial". And as per usual K-OS rocked it out. A seasoned performer who blended seamlessly with the Bedouin Soundclash Boys. It was an awesome show. Lots of Dancing, Good Vibes and Surprises. Don't know how they are going to do it at their third show but I'm glad I saw them at this one. Money and Time completely well spent. - Tue, 30 May 2006 1:01pm Edited: Thu, 1 Jun 2006 3:28am | ||
