| Mainland Mayhem User Info... |  'em a thumb up. The lead singer was a bit of a soap opera but the guitarist with the vampire fangs kept things cool. I hear these girls are very supportive of other bands in the local music scene so for that alone they rock! They also had a number of fans who knew the words to all their songs. Speaking of knowing the words to the songs I bought Crystal Pistol's debut CD at their last show and so I was able to shout along with Mik Ireland in unbridled enthusiasm. I'm a bit obsessed about Crystal Pistol but they make my insides noodley with their insane energy. Brian, guitar, went a bit nuts (the ol' guitar behind the head) but Mik was playing it pretty tame, only spilling beer on himself once... With Pinto, guitar, Greg, bass, and Dave, drums, this band is a well oiled machine and they've got charisma to spare. - Wed, 1 Jun 2005 8:00am | ||
