BBJones User Info... | Is it just me or is there something wrong with the email notification service? I find they are always well delayed from when the message was actually posted. Latest example: Post made 2:25pm yesterday. I get notified of the post 8:30am today. That is about 18 hours later. I've already replied... This is not normal. - Fri, 11 Sep 2009 8:36am
Sati User Info... | Always, really? I tested and they seem to be working for me - they were a couple of days ago, and they are now. Immediate. What board sections do you get them for? * I just looked and the notifications sent to you appear to have left our server at the times they were posted. - Fri, 11 Sep 2009 10:09am Edited: Fri, 11 Sep 2009 10:15am
BBJones User Info... | thanks for looking sati. I'll consider it a problem somewhere else then but I don't have email problems from other sources... strange. - Fri, 11 Sep 2009 2:32pm
BBJones User Info... | For what it's worth, I'm getting duplicates sent to me of notifications I've already received. The "sent" date on the email is within minutes of me receiving it, but the posts are days old now. And FYI, I've only ever turned on notifications on the one post is it sending me stuff for. - Mon, 14 Sep 2009 3:08pm
Sati User Info... | Ok, I think its re-sending everytime someone makes an edit to their posts, so we'll get the techs to correct that. But it'd be helpful to know if anyone else is getting their notifications after a long delay. - Thu, 17 Sep 2009 1:49pm
The Professor User Info... | OK I've fixed it so it's not re-sending notifications on edits. That should help alot. Is anyone still getting slow replies? - Fri, 18 Sep 2009 4:19pm
