JK User Info... | hi there, I am a musician and computer tech. I don't have that many computers kicking around, but i have a few, none are worlds faster than yours but I keep them in good shape, they always boot up fine, internet no problem, etc.. I have many tech friends as well, we'd be happy to do a trade with you or something; if we don't need your music gear, then the other computer may be able to be fixed up by us..and could be used as part of the trade. I'll see what systems my friends have. Whats wrong with the Video Card? I have copies of all the different operating systems; Windows 98, 2000, XP...as well as other programs; Office 2000, Norton Antivirus, etc.. It's likely I could just zap your PC back into shape, I usually charge $15-20 an hour, nothing compared to the computer stores..and could probably fix up yer PC in one or two hours... With a re-format/re-install you'd be like new.. only catch is, we'd have to back up your files if you haven't. You say you can only access 4 gigs of your 20 gig harddrive?? soundz pretty wierd...What else is wrong with yer PC? Why does it seem like a piece of shit...? anyways, get back if you want; I'd be happy to help another musician/computer user with their computer. I'm only using a 400mghz P-2 with Windows XP, and it's smokin.. you just gotta maintain them. Anyways, let's do trade, gimme a shout... Peace! JK PS... you say you need to do homework, eh? so why the burner, the video card....? haha. - Sat, 3 Jan 2004 12:21pm

JK User Info... | ok, now I see; you want to game... but your 2nd message up there says you want a faster computer so you can start burning.. but the one before that says you don't need a burner. So want do you really want... a decently fast gaming PC with good sound/video, with or without a CD-burner....? I'm sure i could help you out... help you find a better PC, or help you upgrade your Pc you have so it'll rip along; a little more RAM, your harddrive fixed up, and a good video and sound cards... you'd be fine, without going to a much newer/faster PC... but if you can find someone to trade you a really nice PC for a bunch of your music gear, well then go for it! I'd be happy to help you clean up your new PC and maintain it. Or if you just need a good deal on another video card or something. anyways, talk to ya later! peace. P.S. you can reply here, or to that email site I just emailed you from.. OR, the email addy on here if you click under my name. L8R. - Sat, 3 Jan 2004 12:38pm
