BBJones User Info... | Actually they may be up for sale again. I'm trying to move, and if I find a place I may have to sell some stuff. In case you want more details, here they are: Peavey Black Widows 18" (1801-8 model) - 350watt continuous - 700watt peak - 8 ohm In bandpass cabs with low pass filters post input jack (probably why they were initally referred to ass being tuned to 100hz) Cabs are home made but look to be engineered well and are solid. Looks like 3/4 inch plywood, not particle board. Approx cab size is 2x2x2.5. Not too big, but solid and heavy. Speakers are facing downward (into the port tuned lower section). you could bypass the low pass filters for a fuller range, but the cabinet design may still limit certain frequencies... I haven't tried. They have both been tested and used at a couple of shows though. $400 cash for the pair - Fri, 12 Dec 2003 2:22pm
Jam_Aylott User Info... | i'll give you 375 cash tomorow, no bs [email protected] - Sat, 13 Dec 2003 9:51pm
Jam_Aylott User Info... | these are car subs right? - Sat, 13 Dec 2003 9:53pm
BBJones User Info... | No, they are PA subs. They would not fit in a car :) You could probably take the speakers out of the cabs and mount them in a car if you thought you could afford power amps to run them. If you did that you would probably blow out all your windows... And no, nothing under $400, sorry. - Sat, 13 Dec 2003 10:42pm
