Sudz | Could you tell me as to how many tracks you can record at once? I'm hoping for at least 8............. - Thu, 13 Feb 2003 6:18pm
anon505 | well if you mean diff instruments on seperate tracks all recording at the same time...then only 1 at a time (unless you use the mixer and record all to the same track)....the only way your gonna be able to achive 8 tracks at once is by getting either a) a pro-sound card for your cpu which will run ya at least $700-1000 i.e. (Delta 1010) for a decent one or b)a HD recorder; sumthin along the lines of the Yamaha AW4416 which were goin for sumthin round $3300 U.S. there are more options out there but be prepared to dish out at least $1500 for anthin hardware based. however i used the 808 to record drums and percussion to first track, guitar/bass to second track, synth/effects to third track ,and vocals on the fourth....worked well enuf fer me.... - Fri, 14 Feb 2003 1:09pm

anon505 | anyone know if pawn shops offer decent deals on gear? - Sun, 2 Mar 2003 7:34pm
Mike K User Info... | the pawn shops are pretty stingy they offer not much like a quarter of the value even 1/5th and they sell stuff for way more than they pay for it, thats what ive heard alot, and i mean from alot of people, depends on the gear i guess. - Fri, 14 Mar 2003 3:27am
