Message Board > Gear Buy & Sell > amp tech/builder wanted |
Ryan User Info... | Hey there, I'm your average gear head, newish to victoria. Ihad found an amp tech, but his number is no longer in service. I would like to find someone who can show me the ropes on some basic tech stuff (biasing power tubes etc...) I also am in the process of putting together an amp kit from Weber (5E3X2) and am at the point where I need someone to debug/give some pointers. Any takers out there? I can pay in tech fees if you are a straight up pro, or I can shoot a little cash your way/buy some beers and talk shop. Beers after we are done dealing with 350VDC of course. I do want to learn a bit though, not just have someone tune up my amps. I have a 70's Traynor ygm3 with a bias pot mod that needs biasing , and the kit that is put together, but for sure needs some debugging. cheers, Ryan - Thu, 9 Jun 2011 4:39pm | ||
