moron User Info... | Howdy. I have a Kawai MM16 MIDI fader box for sale (it is on the lower right of this picture). This unit is likely late 80s vintage and has 16 sliders plus a "master volume". It offers a few different modes, the most immediately useful for most folks being the master volume layout (one slider per MIDI channel) plus the single channel configuration with controllers mapped to stuff like pitch bend, modulation wheel, breath control, etc. It does do some limited system exclusive but it's a bit finicky to program up. I did control the operator frequencies on my old TX81Z before using it though. It also includes a few presets for old Kawai gear - their drum rack, K4 synth and I don't remember what else. Here's a review I wrote for it not that long after I got it: http://industrial.org/gear.php?a1=14&l=m&t2=5783&t0=6217 Something equivalent would likely be about $150 to $200 new now so I am asking $80 obo for it. Comes with power supply and manual. I am also willing to consider trades for pedal effects or other odds and ends. Email if interested. Cheers - Sun, 11 Jul 2004 5:29pm | ||
