| Lonemonk User Info... | Most companies already have bundled such a thing for around that price. Fender Squire + Champ Amp and there is a behringer Strat copy as well. Nothing in the packaged deals are state of the art, but $350 can't buy any one of those components if they were SOTA. I dont know behringer guitars at all, but they have recently made some sweet affordable large-diaphram microphones. Hopefully they are trying hard enough to unseat all the older manufacturers that they make stuff right. Nothing wrong with the squire strat once you take the price into account. After your friend is comfortable with it all, then they can go out and spend a grand or two on the real thing. The one thing about buying it all new is there is someone around you can yell at when something isn't right.
