moron User Info... | Howdy. It don't play nice with Linux so out it goes. . . M-Audio Audiophile USB sound / MIDI interface http://kellysmusic.ca/productinfo.asp?id=1042724083 "The MAudio USB Audiophile is the affordable, no-hassle USB audio and MIDI interface - the USB version of MAudio's popular Audiophile 2496. A 2 in/2 out, 24-bit USB audio and MIDI interface with S/PDIF and headphone jack." This sucker supports Windows 98SE to XP as well as MacOSX. It's actually a very nice audio interface with very low noise floor and the addition of a MIDI interface is of course rather handy. It is far superiour to the Edirol UA-20 for example as far as sound quality and features are concerned. The only downside is that it doesn't follow the USB spec fully so I cannot use it under Linux (my main OS). My loss, your gain. PCI is going away shortly (being replaced with PCI-X which is not 100% backwards compatible) where as this sucker will still be usable with your next PC. It is fine shape (not much to go wrong really). My asking price is $225 (it would cost you over $300 at L&M with taxes). It includes the power supply, USB cable and driver discs (everything I got with it basically). If you are interested, drop me a note via [email protected] or give me a call via 360-0372.
